Susu Stall's love for fashion flourished early in her childhood, flipping through her mother's Neiman Marcus catalogues. A New Orleans native, Stall opened a brand-new boutique, SoSusu, in December of 2016, bringing her impeccable taste to Magazine Street. The boutique carries a show-stopping array of women’s apparel and accessories, from formal to casual, including pieces from Jonathan Simkhai, Prabal Gurung, Drome, Jbrand and more.
Contemporary Luxury Fashion
Bringing contemporary luxury fashion to New Orleans was important to Stall. SoSusu is the sole Louisiana stockist to most of the labels in store, and the boutique's exclusive brands set it apart from the renowned retail sector of Magazine Street. SoSusu certainly is a luxury boutique, but each piece here is meant to be a treasure. When buying, Stall makes a concerted effort to fill her store with unique products, and is always looking for classic pieces that women will love forever.
Located in a bright and airy cottage close to Louisiana Avenue, half of the boutique is dedicated to a shoe salon. SoSusu carries footwear from London’s Rupert Sanderson and Malone Souliers; Robert Clergerie and Laurence Dacade of Paris; and Brazilian-born Alexandre Birman and others. Stall only orders one size of each piece - she believes that when you spend good money on fine luxury, you don’t want to see 20 other people wearing the same thing.
