New Orleans is a city known for festivals, food and fun! In fact, there are so many good places to enjoy a cocktail that it can seem a bit overwhelming to someone who isn’t from the area. To help you on your solo travels, we’ve rounded up the best happy hour deals in New Orleans, from classic to brand new bars, directly from a local.

La Casita Taqueria -- La Casita has opened their second location in the Carrollton neighborhood on Oak Street and has made sure to bring their great happy hour deals with them. Weekdays from 3-7pm you can order $2 tacos or a number of discounted drinks.
The Blind Pelican -- This place is known specifically for its amazingly cheap oysters, with a side of 2-for-1 drinks. Located along St. Charles Avenue, The Blind Pelican has plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy a view with your happy hour. Their deal also runs later than most, from 4-8pm daily.
The Columns Hotel -- For more than 100 years The Columns hotel has been welcoming guests, locals and tourists alike, at the iconic building, also along St. Charles Avenue. The specials at The Columns have changed several times over the years, but now they offer drink deals seven days a week from 5-7pm. Come here solo or with friends and watch the streetcar roll by with a glass of champagne in hand.
Dryades Public Market -- If you haven’t yet stopped by Bar 38, located in Dryades Public Market, it’s worth the trip. The open concept space offers food and drink specials Monday-Saturday 3-6pm. Because it’s a market, you can also pick up a few pantry staples once happy hour is over.
