Japan is often overlooked as a great destination for the solo traveler because it is thought to be ultra-expensive. Recently, I “took the plunge” and spent 3 and a half magical weeks in the Land of the Rising Sun. Before I left on this journey, I developed a Pre-Trip Budget to help me project the excursion’s cost.
